601 S. Carlin Springs Road

Arlington, Virginia 22204

Join Virginia Hospital Center Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Philip Wands, Exercise physiologist, ACSM to learn about how your heart works, and the benefits of cardiovascular fitness. The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation unit in Virginia Hospital Center has been deemed by our patients as “the most fun place to be in the hospital”. Our staff takes pride in knowing patients are having fun and enjoying themselves, all while improving cardiovascular fitness. The mission of Cardiopulmonary Rehab is to provide a holisitic approach to improving quality of life through exercise and education. We work alongside all our patients to help them meet their personal goals. These goals could be anything from training for a 5K race to having enough energy to chase around grandchildren. Our program focuses not just on treadmills and rowing machines, but on what is important to each individual who walks through our doors. We are excited to share more about what makes Cardiopulmonary Rehab such a great and safe place to exercise!
