The Washington Interfaith Response and Outreach Coalition (WIROC) is a multifaith, regional network that initiates public demonstrations of solidarity by and for individuals and communities throughout the region proactively and in response to threats and attacks. Our goals are to:
• Respond in person to acts of targeted vandalism, hateful speech, and other types of emotional and physical attacks on faith communities and individuals.
• Sponsor and support pro-active outreach opportunities year-round throughout the region including community-building activities such as Unity Walks and interfaith dialogues.
As a congregation or an individual, you can join our Solidarity Congregation or Solidarity Neighbor network. As a university campus organization or college student, you can join our Solidarity Campus Organization or Campus Solidarity Ally network. Find out more about WIROC and how to be involved by attending this informational meeting. Free and open to the public.
