MoCA on the Move: Art Making Happy Hour — Participatory Art

Join us every Thursday at Met Park for an Art Making Happy Hour.
This Thursday, October 5, spotlights exhibiting SOLOS Artist at MoCA Arlington, Andrew Barco.
In this program, Andrew Barco will share his vision for how urban communities and spaces can be transformed through the practices of the ancient cult of Mithras.
Activities will include:
-
Make your own Phrygian cap!
-
Mad-lib your own words and ideas into the lacuna of the Mithraic catechism!
-
Participate in a cult initiation, wearing your handmade cap!
-
Learn how citing a mithraic temple underneath Metropolitan park will positively impact Arlington’s public space.
Experience some of the time-traveling fun of Andrew’s exhibition, Understory, at MoCA Arlington through this participatory art experience!
