Arlington, Virginia 22201

Learn how to engage children about the refugee crisis. Jeanne Trabulsi, an Arlington educator and founder of The Refugee Doll Project, will share how parents can foster awareness and appreciation of refugees and new immigrants by using dolls together with books and age-appropriate activities. Participants will also learn family-friendly refugee-focused volunteering and engagement opportunities. The event is for anyone who interacts and works with children, e.g., parents, Sunday School teachers, Girl Scout troop leaders. Parents of children of K-2 are especially welcomed.
