For those of you who haven’t experienced the fine, social tradition of a lowcountry boil first hand down south, we are bringing it all to you right here in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, VA on Saturday, June 17th.
From 12 pm to 4 pm in the courtyard next to Rustico, our Chef De Cuisine Stephen McRae will be serving up fresh Louisiana crawfish, Andouille sausage, corn on the cob and red potatoes. Make sure to come hungry because once you start, it might be hard to stop!
Beer Director Greg Engert will be pouring no fewer than 8 drafts from our favorite Virginia craft brewers during the boil, including selections from The Veil, Commonwealth, Ocelot, Triple Crossing, The Answer and Brothers Craft Brewing! Stay tuned for the full list as we get closer to the day of the event.
We’ll also have 2 live bluegrass performances from local bands, and some fun games out in the courtyard.
There is no admission fee for this event. The crawfish will be priced at $15 per pound, and sides with be priced at $4 per portion. All beers will be priced individually and will range in price from $6 to $8 per glass.
