Virginia Urban Agriculture Summit 2017

Founders' Hall, Arlington Campus,George Mason University,

3351 N Fairfax Drive

ARLINGTON, Virginia 22201

Good Food Enthusiasts:
Here in Arlington, the urban agriculture movement is about so much more that just growing vegetables — it is about building a healthy community, it is about sharing the plentiful resources of our region with all who reside here, and it is about strong connections to the earth and to those who grow and provide our food. The theme of this Third Virginia Urban Agriculture Summit is “Reconnecting our Urban and Rural Communities”. It has become increasingly apparent that these connections need to be strengthened in our State and region, and coming together around food and agriculture is a wonderful way to begin many important conversations.

Please join us on October 5 & 6 in Founders’ Hall of the Arlington Campus of George Mason University for conversations, workshops, tours, exhibits and good food as we celebrate our community through urban agriculture in the Metro region.
