Join us at Art House 7 this summer for a fun-filled week of art camps! From July 29th- August 2nd we offer 2 different camps for ages 5-11: “Green” Sculpture and Arts & Crafts! “Green” Sculpture: In this “Green” art camp, students will build sculptures from wood, sticks, stones, shells, as well as, recycled/cleaned cardboard, plastics, nuts/bolts, caps, and other things that were headed for the trash or recycle bin. Sculpture-making concepts will be emphasized – negative vs. positive space, additive vs. subtractive building, texture, and color. In this week we will have lots to spark your child’s creativity and imagination!
Arts & Crafts: Kids will spend one hour playing games and having snacks. The other half of the camp they will be doing arts and crafts. In both camps, they will be with high school and college-age counselors.
