An Arlington native appeared on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday (Sept. 25) to promote the television show he’s starring in this fall.

Zach Cregger is one of the starring actors in the new NBC comedy “Guys with Kids.” Although his biography page says he currently splits his time between New York and Los Angeles, we’re told Cregger is originally from the Country Club Hills neighborhood of Arlington. He attended The Field School in the District before moving to New York City to attend The School of Visual Arts.

On Fallon’s show, when asked about filming in front of a live audience, Cregger said he has enjoyed the experience.

“Acting, I think, is all about confidence. And when you get a laugh, you get more confident and then it just kind of feeds itself,” said Cregger. “I think it improves everything.”

“Guys with Kids” airs at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays on NBC.

Too bad this show is terrible and will be lucky to last half the season.

And i’m sorry, if you attended a snooty prep school in DC for high school you’re not officially from Arlington. At least not in my book.

    • Eric

Agree on all points. He’s no Greg Garcia.

    • Suz

Oh for Heaven’s sake! Don’t be such a snob! He and his family are from Arlington – I knew them – good people.

        the show’s actually funny, too.

So, this show has the Meadow girl from The Sopranos and the last detective from L&O and somebody who sort of has some link with Arlington. That’s pretty much nothing.

Actually the afro american couple are the funniest of the three couples and too, the show is produced by J FALLON so they got a freebie promo and may be on more should the show slide..

  • just not that into you tormentor commentators

I have never read so many frustrated angry people comments about a blurb mentioning where someone is from. If this can make you so mad, you better start digging holes. It will vent some of the anger. Try to celebrate someone getting a break, wish them well and butt out. It takes the same energy to be positive (actually maybe less). He is putting effort into his life. Who ever he is. Do the same with yours.
