    Time for a wife roundup!

If your license plate is ITRANCE, you deserve to have your car stolen.

When does a husband sink to a “significant other”?

    • CourthouseChris

Evidentally just prior to sinking to “stabbing victim”

  • Mercedes

The question here is what these guys are doing that are making their S.O.s so angry with them.

    • YTK

Getting angry at someone is a choice — doesn’t matter what the other person does. ACTING on your “anger” is an OPTION– which is usually not a good one at all. You have the choice to keep a cooler head and walk away from the problem or discuss it with the other person or get guidance.

    • novasteve

If a husband stabbed his wife, you wouldn’t care as to why he did it. Kind of reminds when when certain people blame terrorism on “foreign policy” instead of the people who commit terrorism. I doubt anyone would blame legal abortion for an abortion clinic bomber. So stop the double standards.

There’s plenty here supported the IRA as freedom fighters

The British would have called George Washington a terrorist if the word had existed.

    • SomeGuy

I think you’d receive a much more hostile reception to that comment if this story were about a man committing a crime against a woman (assuming your comment were changed to reflect the circumstances).

    • drax

Hey Mercedes, good point! Just like you have to wonder what women are doing that causes men to beat them all the time! Right?

  • Ralph

“The subject and victim got into a verbal altercation over money.”

It seems better to just hand over the money rather than risk being killed by some low life.

    • a different theory

Instead of just handing it over, he probably made the mistake of telling her that the women folk at the McDonald’s on the Pike only charged $20 (and that the woman down the street only charged $10)

  • bobbytiger

Time to pass some more laws “to make sure that this never happens again”.

  • Clarendon Cruiser

And these two domiclile violent acts against men happen just as Congress is about to re approve the Violence Against WOMEN Act. Talk about a little irony.

As a commander in the Army in the 90s, I once had to forcibly return a wife of soldier back to the United States (from germany) since she was beating HIM every night.

I am suspect of the effect we are getting from this Law for the money spent.

    • novasteve

Welcome to the left’s concept of “equality”. Of course they can’t have the violence against people act, they need to pick darlings and ignore a lot of reality like the actual high percentage of domestic violence against men by women, and by women of other women. But we have to deny reality.

      • sh

how sad, but not surprising given the lack of education

        • CourthouseChris

Be nice to stev e; try and keep it civil here. Ad-hominem attacks are not appreciated.

      • correction

Speak for yourself deny reality boy

      • drax

Violence against men, and women, are both already illegal.

Yet despite that, women suffer so much more violence.

Women need extra protection, not your rigid ideology.

        • novasteve

Drax, what about equal protection, and the domestic violence rates are close to 50-50 these days. Not “so much more violence”. And there much more violence against men, by men. Virtually all homicide and assault victims are men, assaulted by other men.

  • Chris

Stab me once, shame on you. Stab me twice, shame on me (for marrying you!)

  • SCK

If they gave her a block of wood, and taught her to carve…..lol, how’s it go??

  • NeedABiggerShark

“stabbed her husband with a folding knif. “. I don’t know what a folding “knif” is, but if there are two incidents in a two week period, its clear they are a problem and need to be legislated banned. Liberal reactionists, unite!

  • JMB

This woman, however, unlike the previous one, was charged with ‘malicious’ wounding, not ‘unlawful’ wounding. So it sounds like Ms. Williams at least had the foresight to obtain the proper permit.

  • Hank

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: being married by the time you’re 20 assures you will stab someone with a folding “knif” at some point in your life.

    • drax

Hate to say it, but nobody even bothered to correct that error because we’re so used to them here.

  • Nugga

Must be that time of the month
