A free concert is coming to Metropolitan Park tomorrow (Wednesday) as Amazon prepares to celebrate HQ2’s one-year anniversary later this month.

Indie rock artist Zach Person will be performing his sophomore album, “Let’s Get Loud,” from 5-5:45 p.m. on the park’s Central Green at 525 14th Street S. A “loud and raw” blend of “high-energy rock anthems and head-bobbing funk rhythms” is promised, along with free picnic blankets.

“Person describes the album — produced by Nashville-based rocker Tyler Bryant — as an audio diary of his mid-twenties, bestowing it the title ‘Let’s Get Loud’ as a nod to his musical mantra,” a press release says.

More Met Park entertainment is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 at a “community day” celebrating HQ2’s opening last June. Food tastings, a DJ, children’s activities, a brunch garden and interactive art installations are all scheduled to happen from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at 510 14th Street S.

A complete press release is below.
