Arlington Public Library’s spring book sale returns next week

The Arlington Public Library’s semiannual book sale is coming back for the spring season.

Offering books, games and puzzles at bargain prices, the sale begins next Thursday, April 3 in Central Library’s parking garage at 1015 N. Quincy Street.

The sale runs from April 3-6

  • Thursday’s sale is limited to members of Friends of the Arlington Public Library.
  • Public sale hours are 10:30 a.m.-4:45 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
  • Specialty books will be sold in the library’s Quincy Room from 3:30-7:15 pm. on Thursday and from 11 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Sunday is ‘half-price day’

  • Sunday customers will receive a 50% discount on all items except for T-shirts, mugs and tote bags.
  • Teachers and librarians who bring a form of school identification can also receive a 50% discount on Friday and Saturday.
  • Book sale proceeds benefit the Arlington Public Library’s programming, including story times, author events and workshops.

Library garage parking will be unavailable during the sale. Customers can enter the garage through the library elevator or stairwell.
