Bishop O’Connell Knights baseball players Noah Haught and Jack Woda were chosen first-team Division I all-state for their performances during the 2025 private-school season.
Haught, a senior infielder and pitcher, batted a team-high .443 during the high-school campaign and had a team-best 35 hits. Haught scored 27 runs, had 20 RBI, seven doubles, two triples and two home runs. He stole seven bases.
On the mound, the right-hander had a 3-3 record with a 4.15 earned run average and two saves. Haught made nine appearances, threw 30 1/3 innings, with 46 strikeouts and 13 walks.
Woda, a junior catcher, batted .359 with team highs in doubles (13) and home runs (three). He tied for the team high in RBI with 23. Woda had 28 hits.
The players helped O’Connell finish with a 20-6 record and earn a ranking as high as fourth in the state in the Division I state poll.
The Knights were the fifth seed in the Division I state tournament, losing in the first round to fourth seed Cape Henry.
Haught will play college baseball at the University of Richmond and Woda has committed to play at East Carolina University.
