Arlington Palooza returns this month with dancing, vendors and craft stations

Food trucks, family friendly activities and feel-good jams are coming to Lubber Run Community Center later this month with the return of Arlington Palooza.

The event will take place from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, May 16, promising entertainment for all ages, a wide array of artisan and community vendors and a food truck alley with sweet treats and hot bites.

Entertainment will include a magic show, a “mini game show” and a headliner performance by a yacht rock tribute band. Other attractions include moon bounces, “make and take craft stations,” an obstacle course, lawn games and animal encounters.

“Get ready for an afternoon of fun, music, and high-energy performances at Arlington Palooza!” an announcement says. “From interactive family entertainment to live entertainment and music on the main stage, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

The event is free but attendees are encouraged to RSVP. A complete entertainment lineup is below.

  • Zumba: 1:15 p.m.
  • Line Dancing: 1:30 p.m.
  • Gold Medal Games: 2 p.m. — “Test your skills and have some fast-paced fun with our Mini Game Show, featuring exciting challenges, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs.”
  • Chris Mike Magic: 2:30 p.m. — “Prepare to be amazed with Chris Mike Magic, bringing interactive illusions, mind-blowing tricks, and plenty of laughs to Arlington Palooza.”
  • Go Bananas Dancing: 3 p.m. — “Kids and families will love dancing along, joining the action, and showing off their best moves during this lively crowd favorite.”
  • Chris Mike Magic: 3:30 p.m.
  • Go Bananas Dancing: 4 p.m.
  • In Threes: 4:30 p.m. — “Get ready for a crowd-pleasing set from In Threes, a DMV-based band known for strong vocal harmonies, great energy, and favorite songs everyone knows and loves.”
  • Gold Medal Games: 4:45 p.m.
  • Got Yacht?5 p.m. — “Set sail with Got Yacht?, the East Coast yacht rock tribute band delivering smooth sounds, tight harmonies, and feel-good hits from the ’70s and ’80s.”
