Update at 7:10 p.m. — The missing girl has been safely located, according to Virginia State Police.
Earlier: Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl last seen in the Long Branch Creek neighborhood last week.
The girl was last seen on the 1400 block of 28th Street S. on Friday afternoon, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt and light blue jeans.
The Arlington County Police Department put out a critically missing alert for her yesterday afternoon (Monday).
“She is described as a Black female, 5’10” tall with black hair and brown eyes,” ACPD said.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Emergency Communications Center at 703-558-2222 or call 911 in an emergency.
