The filming of an Arlington County Police Department recruitment video will bring a temporary road closure on Friday.
A section of Army Navy Drive between S. Nash Street and 28th Street S. will be closed from 5-10 p.m. to accommodate filming, ACPD said. The forthcoming video is meant to “showcase the work of our officers and enhance our recruitment efforts.”
The department added that it will be filming in “various locations throughout the county” between Thursday and Saturday, but did not specify other locations.
After years of declining staff numbers, ACPD told ARLnow last September that it was ramping up recruitment and retention efforts through a media campaign, altered pay scale and greater outreach to young adults.
