Potomac Roasting has a deal that’s a lot like Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings.
We order highly graded specialty coffee beans from around the world. We then roast them to perfection at light, medium, and dark levels. Finally, and if you live in Arlington County, we deliver the beans to your door only days after they’ve been roasted.
Two of our newest beans include a full-bodied gem of a coffee from Sumatra, Indonesia, that we call “Krakatoa.” Its distinct, pleasantly earthy profile has been very popular at our farmers markets. We also have a new decaf from Brazil that uses the chemical-free, Swiss Water Process to create a 99% caffeine-free bean with flavors of chocolate and Brazil Nut.
As former Peace Corps volunteers, we stay on-mission by purchasing our green beans from small-scale, female producers who grow great coffee. We area also on the hunt for sources of USDA-certified organic coffee. Our selections from Sumatra, DR Congo, and Colombia check this box.
