With the exception of a number of private-school basketball games, the winter regular-season sports schedule has been completed for Arlington varsity teams.
But the post-season competition is about to hit its stride.
Liberty District girls and boys basketball tournaments begin Tuesday, Feb. 18, with region and state swimming-and-diving action also taking place during the week.
Before that, O’Connell wrestlers will be participating in the Virginia private-school Division I state tourney this Friday and Saturday (Feb. 14-15).
