The Arlington Civitan Open Air Flea Market
One of Northern Virginia’s largest and longest-running community markets!
The Arlington Civitan Open Air Flea Market transforms the I-66 garage in North Arlington—right next to Washington-Liberty High School and the Arlington Planetarium at 15th and North Quincy Streets—into a bustling marketplace full of local treasures and community spirit.
Founded in 1986 through a partnership between Arlington Civitan and Arlington County Government, this event has grown into the region’s favorite place to buy, sell, and rediscover. What began as a simple idea to help neighbors recycle and reuse has become a Saturday tradition—the “mother” of all local flea markets.
Vendors can rent a 9’ x 18’ space for just $20 to sell household items, collectibles, crafts, antiques, and more. Shoppers will find over 150 vendors offering everything from furniture, jewelry, and records to books, clothes, garden tools, and one-of-a-kind curiosities—spread across four levels of a 20,000-square-foot covered garage.
Every dollar raised—from vendor fees to refreshment sales—supports Civitan community service projects that make a difference right here in Arlington. For vendor guidelines, dates, and details, visit our website below and come be part of a great local tradition!
