The Arlington Democrats Latino Caucus warmly invites you to join us for an upcoming Redistricting Town Hall on March 14, at Arlington Mill.
Date & Time: Saturday, March 14, 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Location: Arlington Mill Community Center – Room 413
909 S Dinwiddie St, Arlington, VA 22204
Please register here to help us plan.
Our featured speaker Mr. Jackson Miller, Chair of the Virginia Democratic Redistricting Committee, will provide an overview of how redistricting works in Virginia, what potential changes may mean for our communities, and how residents can stay informed and engaged in this process. Redistricting has become a major issue nationwide- especially in Virginia-as it can shape political representation and elections for years to come. Mr. Miller will discuss current developments and proposals affecting congressional districts and will answer questions from community members about how redistricting may impact representation.
This Town Hall will provide an opportunity to:
· Learn about an issue that directly affects our democracy
· Engage with community leaders and neighbors
· Ask questions and share your perspective
· Build stronger connections across the Arlington Democratic caucuses
We hope you will join us for this informative and engaging discussion. Please feel free to invite friends, neighbors, and anyone interested in learning more about redistricting and civic engagement in Virginia. We look forward to seeing you there and continuing to build a stronger, more informed democratic community together. If you have any questions, please contact Federico Cura at [email protected].
This event is hosted in partnership with the Latino Caucuses of Northern Virginia, LULAC, and the Black Caucus, AAPI Caucus, Equality Caucus, and Disabilities Caucus of the Arlington Democrats. We are also honored to welcome special appearances from several of our local elected leaders, who will share their perspectives and engage directly with residents.
