Ryan Matt of the Northern Virginia Bonsai Society (NVBS) will present on the history, variety and rewarding hobby of bonsai tree cultivation. Ryan will also provide instruction on how to begin creating and styling your own unique bonsai tree. Discussion topics will include bonsai basics, from the soil type to preferred pots in addition to the tools necessary to you started.
