Encore invites students ages 9-18 to audition for the cast of the show and students ages 12-18 to come out and interview for crew. Auditions will be held within a group, and the production team will be looking for projection, teamwork, and creativity skills. Then, the callback list will be posted shortly after the audition date.
Enchanted Bookshop takes place entirely in a small bookstore named A Likely Story. The store seems average by day, but it comes alive at night– literally. Beloved characters from classic literature step out of their books after all of the humans are gone. However, one night they witness a burglary. The characters long to help Margie, the bookstore owner, but they are not allowed to leave the building or be seen by human eyes. Will they warn her and risk disappearing forever? Or will they put a stop to the thieves themselves?
