The Washington Tattoo 250 Experience

The Washington Tattoo is a spectacular live production celebrating America’s 250th anniversary through music, culture, and pageantry. A tattoo is a centuries-old tradition that brings together military bands, precision drill teams, cultural performers, and storytelling in one unforgettable theatrical experience. This inaugural performance at Lisner Auditorium features more than 200 performers—including five premier U.S. military ensembles, Grammy Award-winning Black Eagle Singers, Australia’s OzScot Highland Dancers, and Voices of Service—many appearing together on the same stage for the first time. Produced by a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and preserving military musical traditions, the Washington Tattoo is an inspiring, family-friendly event that celebrates our shared heritage in a welcoming, non-political atmosphere. Performances take place July 17–18, with tickets starting at just $25 (this includes the Ticketmaster fee)
