The fall 2026 Environmental Collection and Recycling (E-CARE) event is happening Saturday, Oct. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, at 1425 N. Quincy St. (across from Washington-Liberty High School). This free, biannual event allows Arlington residents to safely dispose of household hazardous materials (HHM), old electronics and small metal items.

Safely dispose of many items, including:
• Paint Products (25-can limit)
• Garden Chemicals
• Fire Extinguishers
• Household Cleaners
• Flammable Solvents
• Automotive Fluids
• And more!

You can also donate bicycles and bike parts to be collected by Bikes for the World and donate gently used Halloween costumes that will be given at costume swap events this fall.
