Pumpkin spice season is here, but winter is closer than you think.
When winter weather arrives, some of our most vulnerable neighbors can’t clear snow from their sidewalks and driveways, limiting their ability to travel safely and access essential services.
That’s why Arlington County and Volunteer Arlington have partnered to create the pilot Snow Buddies Program, where volunteers will be paired with older or homebound neighbors to help with snow removal efforts.
Volunteers ages 13 and older will be paired with 1-2 neighbors and self-activate throughout the winter season to help clear snow.
You can make a meaningful difference this winter. Show your volunteer interest through October 9.
