Get ready to dive into an exciting world of creativity this summer with Art House 7!

We’re thrilled to announce our amazing lineup of summer camps, specially designed for kids aged 5-7 and 8-12. With themes like Art Exploration, Fiber Arts, Arts & Crafts Around the World, Calling All Foodies, and Under the Sea, your child is sure to have a blast exploring their artistic talents. Plus, we have a variety of Just Clay camps for ages 6-8 and 9-12 that offer short, fun-filled weeks of hand building clay projects.

From Sunday, May 14 through Tuesday, May 16, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) will be on the National Mall to host the Celebration of Construction on the National Mall from 9:00am – 5:00pm with construction equipment and technology on display for the public to experience. The event will span the National Mall from 9th to 14th Streets NW.

This free public event is a unique opportunity for families with young children and anyone who wants to see the equipment building the world’s infrastructure. From excavators to bulldozers to paving equipment – it’ll be a fun event for everyone!

The Brew Shop is excited to announce this week’s Friday night tasting with Chincoteague Island VA’s Black Narrows Brewing will feature Founder and Head Brewer Josh Chapman. Josh will be on site to chat all things beer and Black Narrows from 5-7pm on Friday, 5/5 – including discussing their 2023 Good Food Award winning lager, How Bout it. The tasting is free for all (ages 21+).
