Sign Up For Encore Learning Classes Today

The fall semester with Encore Learning begins on Monday, September 30. Sign-up today for a class to expand your world. Classes begin over the next several weeks, so if you missed signing up earlier you may find a class offered later in October or November that suits your schedule.

Courses on literature, neurosciences of the senses, poverty in America, hearing science, and the vortex of American art and history are among Encore Learning’s lineup for the fall 2024 semester. Learn about 100 individuals involved in Arlington’s struggle for racial equality; discuss Demon Copperhead; explore the space faring potential; walk with the Rambler and so much more in these daytime classes that meet for 4 to 10 weeks.

Offering an eclectic mix of 37 courses the fall course catalog is online at encorelearning.net and printed copies are available at local libraries and senior centers. The lineup includes virtual and in-person courses, with most in-person courses meeting at George Mason University’s Mason Square at Virginia Square in Arlington.

Encore Learning is a nonprofit organization offering college-level courses, clubs and events to retirees and other seniors.
