Join approximately 600 local leaders, neighbors, and friends for one of Arlington’s largest annual celebrations of community service and leadership. Hosted by Arlington Community Foundation, the 33rd annual Spirit Awards Celebration and Luncheon recognizes people whose vision, generosity, and commitment have helped make Arlington a stronger and more inclusive place to call home.
This year’s gathering will hold special significance as the community comes together to honor the late Hon. William T. Newman Jr., a lifelong Arlingtonian, founder of Arlington Community Foundation, and namesake of the Spirit of Community Award. The program will include a special tribute to his extraordinary legacy while also celebrating two leaders carrying that spirit forward: Devanshi Patel, recipient of the Spirit of Leadership Award, and Alejandra Underwood, recipient of the Spirit on the Rise Award.
Check-in and networking hour begins at 11 AM, with the seated lunch and program beginning at noon.
