Hosted by the September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance, this commemorative event offers participants the choice of a 3.5-mile walk or—for the first time—a 23-mile guided bike ride to the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial and back. Docents and guest speakers will be present at the Memorial, including Congressman Don Beyer, Sheriff Quiroz, Kevin J. Lilly, Acting Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife and Parks, and other distinguished leaders. All proceeds benefit the 1,500-mile 9/11 National Memorial Trail, connecting the three national 9/11 memorial sites.
