Army Birthday Celebration on the National Mall
The Army is celebrating its 250th Birthday on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The festival is open to the public with opportunities to interact with Soldiers, watch military demonstrations, explore equipment static displays, and listen to live music throughout the day. The Army Birthday Celebration will represent a wide variety of Army units, capabilities and possibilities. Events will take place on the National Mall near the Washington Monument, conveniently located by the Smithsonian metro entrance. In-person event — Free and open to the public
Schedule
• 9:30 am – 12:30 pm – Fitness Competition and awards
• 11:00 am – 6:00 pm – Army Birthday Festival: This event is open to the public with opportunities to interact with Soldiers, watch military demonstrations, explore equipment static displays, and listen to live music throughout the day.
• 6:00 pm – 7:45 pm – Army 250th Birthday Parade
• 9:45 pm – Fireworks on the Mall
While pre-registration is strongly encouraged to help reduce admission wait times, on-site registration will be available for those who do not pre-register. However, please note that attendees who register on-site will be subject to additional screening prior to entry.
