Join us at Art House 7 this summer for a fun-filled week of art camps! From August 5th-9th we offer 3 different camps for ages 5-13: Clay Sculpture, Art Adventures – Exploring Creativity through Process, and Arts & Crafts! Clay Sculpture: Campers will dive into the exciting world of clay sculpting and pottery! Our week-long camp is designed to spark imagination and nurture creativity while exploring the versatile medium of clay. Campers will learn a variety of hand-building techniques, including pinch, coil, and slab construction, to create whimsical creatures, functional pottery and/or three-dimensional sculptures.
Art Adventures – Exploring Creativity through Process: Welcome to Art Adventures, where young artists embark on a journey of discovery, experimentation, and creative expression! Our camp is designed to celebrate the joy of making art while emphasizing the process of creation over the pursuit of perfection. Art Adventures offers elementary-age children a dynamic environment where they can explore a wide range of artistic techniques, materials, and ideas without the pressure of achieving a perfect end product. Campers will have the freedom to experiment with various art materials, including paint, clay, collage materials, found objects, and more. Campers will learn to enjoy the process of making art, from brainstorming and experimenting to problem-solving and reflection.
Arts & Crafts: Kids will spend one hour playing games and having snacks. The other half of the camp they will be doing arts and crafts. In both camps, they will be with high school and college-age counselors.
