Encore invites students ages 9-18 to audition for the cast of the show and students ages 12-18 to come out and interview for crew. Auditions will be held within a group, and the production team will be looking for projection, teamwork, and creativity skills. Then, the callback list will be posted shortly after the audition date.
When Hansel and Gretel get sent into the woods, they run into numerous peculiar characters. They meet a fiery troll who guards his wooden bridge. Even stranger, they encounter an articulate owl, a forest sprite, and two hobgoblins; all of which work for a frightening (yet hilarious) witch. The witch snatches Hansel and keeps him captive, feeding him nothing but cake. Gretel must defeat the and rescue her brother. Can she succeed, or will she fall victim for the witch and get nothing but cake for the rest of her life?
