The former Arlington School Board member has published a new memoir about her work in education, politics, and activism. The work, “Dreams and Shadows: An Immigrant’s Journey,” recounts Violand-Sanchez’s extensive career in Arlington Public Schools after traveling from Bolivia to the United States.
The author program will be followed by a book signing. Copies of the book will be available for purchase courtesy of the author.
