Awesome Con returns to the nation’s capital March 13–15, 2026, for its biggest and most ambitious event to date, transforming the Walter E. Washington Convention Center into a three-day celebration of pop culture, fandom, and creativity. This year’s show will feature headline-making reunions, first-ever convention appearances, and immersive experiences for all ages — including a Firefly Cast Reunion, Paul Giamatti’s first-ever fan convention, a live taping of Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk’s Once We Were Space Men podcast, and the launch of exciting new show features like Romancing DC.
