On Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., Cherrydale United Methodist Church (CUMC) presents the Ukrainian group Gerdan, a professional music ensemble based in the Washington, DC area.
Come hear Grammy-winning flutist Andrei Pidkivka and renowned violinist Solomia Gorokhivska, founders of Gerdan, in a captivating performance of original arrangements that blend traditional Ukrainian folk melodies with modern rhythms. Experience the rich tapestry of Eastern European music in a mesmerizing musical journey, including singing and instrumental music played on historic and exotic instruments.
