Have an un-used bike lying about? Put your old bike to good use through Bikes for the World at the Arlington County ECARE on November 8!
Donations welcomed of any model of serviceable bicycles, bike parts & accessories including tools & clothing. Also, portable sewing machines in operating condition. Items donated will support community programs around the globe providing access to jobs, education, health care, & youth development.
A suggested $ 10 per bike helps defray a modest share of the expenses of getting a bike and supplies to a qualifying destination. Bikes for the World is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit agency and provides a receipt good for tax purposes for all donations. Info on how bicycles change lives is available at www.bikesfortheworld.org.
