Join acupuncturist Bill Reddy, L.Ac., for an informative talk on ancient Chinese medical concepts and how they relate to modern western medicine. This talk will cover:

  • A brief history of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

  • Fundamental differences between TCM and western medicine

  • Different styles of acupuncture

  • Major diagnostic methods

  • Therapeutic techniques

  • Conditions acupuncture is effective at treating

  • Educational requirements to be a licensed acupuncturist

  • Herbology, myths and reality

  • How acupuncturists fit into the US healthcare system

This event will consist of a one-hour talk and a 30-minute Q&A session.
