This is the 46th annual June community event at the western end of Arlington County between N. John Marshall Drive and N. Ohio Street. In the 1980’s many local residents and adjacent civic associations pressed to remove another arterial roadway under a Master Transportation Plan. Since then, the County has made many improvements over the years over the right of way. The “greenway”, called by many, is drawn by high numbers. Others exercise for health. Pedestrians talk on a regular basis, and canines do as well.
However please do not bring your dogs at the civic association event due the press of people and small children. Look over the yard sales sponsored by the sellers.
