Join Arlington community members, families, partners, and local leaders for a meaningful evening of remembrance, connection, and hope at the 2026 Overdose Awareness Vigil. This annual event honors the lives lost to overdose, supports those affected by substance use, and helps build a more understanding and compassionate community.
Whether you have been personally impacted by substance use, know someone who has, or simply want to learn more and show your support, you are welcome.
The evening will feature remarks from Arlington County leaders, an interactive storytelling experience with opportunities for reflection and audience questions, and a candlelit vigil to honor the lives lost to overdose. Together, these moments offer a chance to listen, learn, remember, and stand alongside neighbors affected by substance use and overdose.
