Volunteer Opportunity For All Ages – Region’s Largest Annual Used Clothing Drive

If you are looking for a fun and rewarding volunteer activity, Saturday December 6 is our region’s oldest and largest annual used clothing drive that benefits dozens of area homeless shelters, hosted by the local nonprofit Gifts for the Homeless. Kids of all ages are welcome to join hundreds of families that turn out each year to help sort tens of thousands of pieces of gently used clothing for deliver dozens of local shelters including all Arlington shelters. There will be delicious free food for volunteers, including bagels, pizza, and Korean fried chicken. School, church, and scout groups are welcome. Advance sign-up is requested but not required. (It helps the nonprofit know how much food to buy for the volunteers.)
