Moms Demand Action Against Gun Violence (Arlington chapter of a nationwide organization) will be holding its annual event to honor victims of gun violence on Sunday, June 8th, from 12-3pm, in the Hope Garden at the corner of 15th & Courthouse, near the Arlington government buildings. The group has planted and maintains a garden to honor victims of gun violence, where we will speak about victims of gun violence. The public is invited to attend and to also join in a Peace Walk from 1:15 – 1:45. Community organizations with which the group partners will be providing information at tables set up around the garden. Near the garden, there will also be a Blood drive and walk-ins are welcome. Please come and help Moms Demand Action honor victims of gun violence and learn more about the group’s efforts to reduce gun violence in our community. Get involved in this important work!
