Coyotes are increasingly at home in Northern Virginia, and they may be closer than you think!
Join Arlington Regional Master Naturalists (ARMN) for an engaging look at the Eastern coyote, one of our region’s most adaptable wild neighbors. Learn how coyotes live, what they eat, how they communicate, and the important role they play in local ecosystems.
We’ll also explore what to do if you encounter a coyote and simple ways to reduce conflicts around your home and neighborhood. Whether you’ve heard a mysterious howl, spotted a coyote on your evening walk, or simply want to learn more about the wildlife sharing our community, this program will help you become a more informed and confident coyote neighbor.
