Arlington, VA – Arlington Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU) announced Kim Plaugher has been appointed as Chief Operations Officer. Ms. Plaugher previously held the position of Vice President of Operations.
Plaugher has 19 years of experience in the credit union industry. During her career she has held various management positions overseeing branches, call centers, Information Technology, compliance, and facilities.
As an executive at ACFCU, Plaugher has overseen Information Technology, Risk Management, Project Management, Branches, the Member Service Call Center, and Vendor Management, while providing extensive coaching and development of executives, managers, and staff. As COO, Plaugher will be responsible for organizational alignment and efficiency.
Plaugher received her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia. She is a certified NAFCU Enterprise Risk Manager, a graduate of the Envision Excellence Executive Leadership Program, and a 2015 graduate of Leadership Arlington’s Signature Program. Plaugher is a member of the Board of Directors of the Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization and lives in Arlington.
