Congratulations to Clarendon Animal Care on Its Expansion

Clarendon Animal Care, an ARLnow.com client, is expanding its space and hiring more staff.

The clinic’s physical size is increasing by 70 percent as it expands into a former sign shop next door. It will increase from three to five exam rooms, there will be a larger reception area and there will also be roomier treatment spaces. The center is also adding a fifth veterinarian to the clinic.

Dr. Natasha Ungerer, one of the owners of Clarendon Animal Care, credits the staff’s love for their work along with their positivity as the reasons for the clinic’s success. It was these qualities that helped the center to grow its business and prompted the need for the expansion.

The veterinary clinic has been running a sponsored, biweekly column with ARLnow since February 2015, just one month after the clinic officially opened. The column is written by Ungerer and clinic co-owner Dr. Kayleen Gloor.

“The article is fun for us to write,” said Ungerer. “We aim to write about topics we as pet owners would want to learn about, or have a quick refresher on, but we also love getting topic suggestions.”

Since opening the center and starting the column, the clinic has learned that Arlingtonians are even more dedicated to their pets’ health than they first imagined.

“[This] facilitates us doing our job well and investing ourselves in our patients’ care,” said Ungerer.
