ARLINGTON – Arlington County Board Chair Mary Hughes Hynes and former School Board Member Ed Fendley join a long list of current and former elected officials to endorse Reid Goldstein for Arlington School Board, adding their names to the growing list of Goldstein supporters. With the endorsements, Hynes and Fendley join Arlington County Board member Jay Fisette, Arlington School Board member Nancy Van Doren, State Senator Adam Ebbin, and State Delegate Alfonso Lopez among many others.

“Reid’s lived it all – civic association president, PTA president, president of the CPRO Board of Directors and County Board Commission member,” said Hynes. “He knows first-hand the synergies we achieve when Arlingtonians work together to make our community a great place to live, work, learn and play.”

“We need Reid,” added Fendley. “He is smart, dedicated, and experienced. Reid brings the perspective of a parent and a community leader. He will be perfect for making sure we make investments that are good for kids and good for all of Arlington.”

Goldstein has also been endorsed by former State Senator Mary Margaret Whipple, former Arlington County Board member Chris Zimmerman, former County Board member and APAH founder Joe Wholey, longtime school advocate Ann Felker, and longtime Arlington County Democratic committee members Alan and Pam Howze.
