ARLINGTON — Arlington School Board candidate Reid Goldstein picked up another endorsement soon after his first two. Former Arlington County Board Member Chris Zimmerman endorsed Goldstein, recognizing that Goldstein has been an advocate for educational opportunity for all Arlingtonians.
“Reid understands the critical importance of schools in the context of long range planning from his work as a leader of the Columbia Pike Housing Study, the Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization, and Douglas Park’s Neighborhood Conservation Plan,” Zimmerman said. “Reid understands from 20-plus years of experience as both a schools and neighborhood advocate that APS, the county and the neighborhoods need to work together on issues like building design, transportation access, and open space.”
Goldstein has now earned endorsements from multiple levels of elected officials, including State Senator Adam Ebbin and Delegate Alfonso Lopez.
