Through a series of global dialog, Center for Inner Resources Development – North America (CIRD-NA) will present the message of Bhagavad Gita as a secular and historical text to all as a universal life manual.
This year’s convention will be held from September 15-16, 2018 (Saturday and Sunday), at Center for the Arts, George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, USA. Admission to the convention is free.
Bhagavad Gita is an ancient Indian text that documents the dialog between two great warriors, Krishna, the teacher and Arjuna, the student. For the past several millennia people from all walks of life have discovered practical spiritual wisdom in Gita to empower their lives. The knowledge in Gita provides a deep understanding of human nature enabling one to live and interact in the world with expansion, ease, and fulfillment.
The convention will provide an opportunity to participants to understand the spiritual truth at a personal level and the practical application of the Bhagavad Gita message. Attendees from every walk of life will discover how spiritual wisdom enriches and empowers their inner personality, enabling them to assimilate various impacts from the world and thereby feel a sense of inner expansion and elevation.
“The convention will offer a platform for learning, knowledge exchange and collaboration and will aim to positively impact personal and social welfare.”
