ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – In celebration of University of Phoenix’s Northern Virginia – D.C. Metro Service Center in Arlington, VA, grand opening, the University will host a series of activities open to students, alumni and the community next week. This new service center will provide career and academic support resources, work and meeting spaces, and host other community events throughout the year.
Next week’s events include a ribbon cutting opening ceremony and a career fair, where participants will receive free LinkedIn headshots, tips on how to create federal resumes and corporate resumes, and the opportunity to meet with employers. University of Phoenix will also partner with Rise Against Hunger for a community service event. Staff, alumni, students, faculty, and new graduates will pack 15,000 meals that will be distributed to vulnerable populations around the world.
