Pierre Malko with Foodie and The BeastArlington, VA – June 20, 2016 – CEO of Dante Inc. – the software company behind Ouli App – sat down with Foodie and the Beast yesterday to talk mobile technology and dining out. Ouli, the personal concierge app that was launched in 2015, is rapidly expanding across the DC Metro area and is catching the attention of media, consumers and merchants. The app is available for free download on iOS and Android devices.

Ouli is a personal concierge app that connects consumers to the communities around them. A big portion of that is dining out. The app offers exclusive deals at restaurants in Arlington, Alexandria and Washington D.C. Ouli has partnered with hundreds of restaurants to take the hassle out of dining out. Users simply tell Ouli what they want to do (eat lunch, eat brunch, happy hour, eat dinner), what neighborhood and what day and time. The uniquely intelligent app then combs through hundreds of options and provides the user with three personalized offers based on their preferences. Users can then add offers to their calendar and set reminders all within the app.

Foodie and the Beast is the only food and wine radio show in the D.C. area. Hosts Nycci and David Nellis cover everything from fine dining to irresistible junk foods, top chefs to up-and-comers you haven’t heard of and much more. As founder and publisher of TheListAreYouOnIt.com, Nycci Nellis has her fingertip on the pulse of the restaurant, food and wine scene in the D.C. area.

“The system is always learning about the person who is using it. The app is very user friendly,” said Nycci Nellis, co-host Foodie and the Beast

“Pierre Malko is a stone cold genius. He’s CEO of a software company and a restaurateur, and now he’s created this app,” said David Nellis, co-host Foodie and the Beast

“When you decide to do things like go out to eat or celebrate life’s occasions, you search. This means you get a lot of results and a lot of advertising, which can be overwhelming. We are trained to skip over the ads,” said Pierre Malko, Dante CEO. “With Ouli you tell the app what you want to do and it gives you three suggestions that are personalized based on the users’ behavior and preferences.”

In addition to partnering with restaurants, Ouli is connecting users to all areas of the community from farmers markets to yoga in the park. From clothing stores to art exhibits. The personal concierge app is creating connections between merchants and consumers that might not otherwise have happened. Push notifications allow Ouli to make users aware of highly relevant and personalized offers as they are happening close by.
Ouli is quickly expanding to new neighborhoods and adding new merchants daily to bring users the best of the D.C. Metro area.
