Ouli connects Arlington merchants and consumers through location-based offers
Arlington, VA – May 9, 2016 – Arlington-based software company, Dante, announced its consumer product Ouli App will be one of the sponsors at the Taste of Arlington Festival. Ouli is a personal concierge app for busy consumers. It takes into account a user’s location, activity preference and time of day and provides the user with special offers and event details at local businesses. The app is available for free download on iOS and Android devices.
Ouli launched in Arlington in late 2015 and is rapidly expanding across Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. Now working with hundreds of businesses – including dozens of Arlington restaurants – and with thousands of app downloads; Ouli is changing the way Arlingtonians dine out by connecting consumers and merchants in a way that hasn’t been done before.
“The concept behind the Ouli app is community connections, so we have been focused on sponsoring and participating in community events since our launch. Obviously we love getting our name out there, but it’s really about talking to our neighbors, meeting new people and showing the people of Arlington what Ouli can do for them,” said Pierre Malko, Dante’s CEO. “Beyond restaurants, Ouli has partnered with salons and spas, farmers markets, yoga classes and more. The Taste of Arlington Festival will take place Sunday, May 15 from noon to 6 p.m. in Ballston. The event will raise thousands of dollars for the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Push notifications allow Ouli to make users aware of highly relevant and personalized offers as they are happening close by. In addition to providing personalized offers, Ouli can help users book reservations with OpenTable through the app and set up Uber rides to offer locations.
Ouli is working across the DC Metro region to add new merchants and neighborhoods daily.
