Ouli Adds I Want to VolunteerOuli Users Can Now Discover Local Volunteer Opportunities Within the App
Arlington, VA – December 5, 2016 – Arlington-based software company, Dante Inc., announced the addition of the “I Want to Volunteer” intent to the Ouli App. Ouli is a uniquely intelligent personal concierge app that presents consumers with offers and suggestions for local merchants and events that are personalized based on their chosen activities, time, location, history and preferences. The app is available for free download on iOS and Android devices.
By adding the volunteer intent, users can now find local volunteer opportunities at area nonprofits. Ouli has partnered with more than 20 organizations to highlight upcoming volunteer needs within communities across Arlington, DC and Maryland.
The app makes it easier than ever for people to see the needs in their community. Users can focus on a specific neighborhood and set the day and time to see what opportunities are available.
“As a company we have been heavily involved with many local nonprofits for years. It only made sense to add the volunteer intent to the app as we work to connect residents to the communities around them,” said Pierre Malko, Dante’s CEO. “There are many great organizations in the area that are seeking volunteers. By making it easy to quickly find an opportunity and add it to a users’ calendar, we hope to see an increase in volunteers at local nonprofits.”
The app is available in many parts of Northern Virginia including Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church City, and Mosaic District. Users can also find many Washington D.C. neighborhoods in the app and Silver Spring, MD. Since its launch in 2015 Ouli has been partnering with hundreds of businesses including restaurants, salons, spas, boutiques and theaters to connect users to merchants and build connections that might not otherwise be created. To see a full list of neighborhoods and organizations, users can download the app or visit www.ouliapp.com.
To build a personal experience, the app learns users’ preferences over time and begins to tailor offers and suggestions based on those preferences. Consumers can download the app for free to see what merchants and offers are currently available in their area. Organizations and merchants interested in partnering with the app can contact the Ouli team.
